Fairy Art Journal Page

I didn't get to take a picture of the first part of this, but first I just drew the picture in pencil. Then , I cut out the wing shapes from paper I found in a catalog.

Then, I cut out the shapes for her dress.

After that, I realized that I left out space for her arms! I just lifted up the wings and cut out the arm shapes from them. Then, I glued them back down and drew the face and hair in pencil.

Then, I just did a solid goat of orange-yellow watercolor crayon and blended it.

Then, I colored the hair with  layer of brown watercolor crayons and a layer of black watercolor crayons. I also added some white and some brown to the face, to show some light and shadows.

Finally, I painted the background green, added some stamps, added some white swirls, and wrote in back watercolor crayon. I also added a flower that I made from hearts I cut out.

Hi! I started this lion today. I just have to sketch in the mane, then paint it. I'll have pictures up when it's done!

Queen Bee Art Journal Page

I started off by painting my art journal page yellow with watercolor crayons. Then, I made a stencil of a hexagonfrom paper. I drew inside the stencil. I also added some hexagons that I cut from paper I found in a magazine.

 After that, I added a cutout of a queen bee and did some writing /doodling.

And that's it! I will have another art journal post soon.
